I’m proud to share that all the stars finally aligned for me to photograph this sweet little bundle! Newborn photography is hard. Photographing your own kids is hard. Photographing your own kid’s newborn photos? Practically impossible. These images represent several attempts over the course of probably a week. And lots and lots and lots of patience. And naps (for both mom and babe!).

At 3 weeks old, I didn’t fight his resistance to posing or being naked too much. I decided I would be lucky to get anything. And thankfully, this baby loves loves loves to be swaddled. I played around with several items of sentimental value — there’s a story behind every single prop used and it makes my heart sing!
